Every shortcut would show in the final product. The map is hydrographic cartography by Lovell Johns (est. 1972), printed at A1 on 320 gsm museum-grade paper by Fine Print, and framed by Isis Creative Framing. The electronics — 190 individually-addressable WS2812B LEDs on a custom PCB, driven by a bespoke Flightradar24 data pipeline — are assembled by hand in the UK. Each partner was chosen because they're the best at their craft. The result is a handmade instrument that lives on your wall.
