These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Jetmapper website (jetmapper.co.uk), placement of deposits, and any purchase of Jetmapper products. By accessing this website or placing a deposit, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Jetmapper is a product of SAMUK Innovations Limited, a company registered in England & Wales.

Product Description

Jetmapper is a handcrafted wooden wall map embedded with 190 LEDs that visualise real-time flight data via a Wi-Fi-connected custom PCB and Flightradar24 data. Product specifications, colours, and features shown on this website are representative and may vary slightly in the final product due to the handmade nature of each unit.

Deposits & VIP Reservations

By placing a deposit on our website, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • A deposit of £10 reserves your VIP Early Bird pricing (£899) for the Kickstarter campaign.
  • Your deposit is deducted from your Kickstarter pledge. VIP backers pay £889 on Kickstarter (£899 minus £10 deposit already paid).
  • If you choose not to back the Kickstarter campaign, your deposit is fully refundable. Refunds are processed automatically within 15 days of the campaign ending.
  • You may request a refund of your deposit at any time before the Kickstarter campaign launches by contacting us.
  • Deposits are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"), our payment processor. Stripe handles payment processing, tax calculation, and refunds on behalf of SAMUK Innovations Limited.
  • A deposit does not guarantee a specific delivery date. It reserves your pricing tier for the Kickstarter campaign.

Payment Processing

All payments on this website (including deposits) are processed by Stripe, Inc. on behalf of SAMUK Innovations Limited, the merchant. This means:

  • SAMUK Innovations Limited is the seller of record. Stripe handles all payment card processing.
  • Stripe Tax automatically calculates and collects applicable VAT, GST, and sales taxes where required.
  • Your receipt will come from Stripe on behalf of SAMUK Innovations Limited.
  • Refunds are processed via Stripe.

By completing a payment, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Kickstarter Campaign Terms

Jetmapper products will be offered via Kickstarter. By backing our Kickstarter campaign, you acknowledge:

  • Kickstarter pledges are subject to Kickstarter's own Terms of Use.
  • Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but hardware production timelines may shift.
  • Shipping costs are charged separately and are not included in the pledge amount.

Pricing

The following pricing tiers apply to the Kickstarter campaign:

  • VIP Early Bird— £899 (available to deposit holders only).
  • Super Early Bird— £999 (limited to 50 units).
  • Standard— £1,049 (unlimited).

The retail price after the Kickstarter campaign is £1,499. All prices are in GBP and exclusive of shipping. Applicable taxes are handled by Stripe Tax (for deposits) or Kickstarter (for pledges).

Refunds & Right of Withdrawal

Your deposit is fully refundable under any of the following circumstances:

  • You request a refund at any time before the Kickstarter campaign launches.
  • You choose not to back the Kickstarter campaign — your deposit is automatically refunded within 15 days of the campaign ending.
  • The Kickstarter campaign does not reach its funding goal.

EU/UK consumers: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of your deposit. Since your deposit is refundable at any time, this right is effectively extended beyond the statutory 14-day period.

All refunds are processed via Stripe and are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Consumer Protection

Deposits and payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. on behalf of SAMUK Innovations Limited. As the merchant, SAMUK Innovations Limited is responsible for:

  • Consumer protection obligations in your jurisdiction.
  • Compliance with local e-commerce and distance selling regulations.
  • Handling chargebacks and payment disputes.
  • Collecting applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) via Stripe Tax in accordance with local law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence.

Email Communications

By submitting your email address on our website, you consent to receiving:

  • Kickstarter launch notifications
  • Product updates and behind-the-scenes content
  • VIP deposit confirmation and Kickstarter pledge reminders (if applicable)

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email. Transactional emails (e.g. deposit confirmations, refund notifications) will still be sent as necessary.

Our website uses cookies for essential functionality and, with your consent, for analytics and advertising. By accepting cookies on our website, you consent to the use of Google Analytics 4, PostHog, Microsoft Clarity, and Meta Pixel as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, designs, firmware, and software — is the property of Jetmapper or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our written permission.

Flightradar24 data is used under licence. The Flightradar24 name and logo are trademarks of Flightradar24 AB.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jetmapper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products.

Our total liability for any claim related to a deposit shall not exceed the deposit amount (£10). Our total liability for any claim related to a product shall not exceed the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
